Reaching Out

With progress comes opposition! Recently a worker has been working on setting up a business that would provide a platform for local workers to start a new
outreach into key Zhuang villages . The initial project has been put on hold due to sub-standard products by the supplier.
Since the need for support is still there, another project was started that would initially support
local workers who are willing to do pioneering work in new areas. Local and foreign funds are collected from believers and then given to help these local workers get established in an area. The amount of support will be decreased over time as these workers establish themselves in these new areas. These plans, however, are again being complicated by problems within the existing house church. One of the top leaders has caused a lot of hurt within one of the house churches due to his character as well as following false teaching for a time. Please pray that these set backs would be overcome, complex relationship issues would be resolved and the work would go forward and be blessed.
Praise:
•That a local house church leader has realized his errors and no longer follows misguided teaching.
•For 3 local workers willing to serve in new areas.
•For a recent meeting that focused on the Zhuang. Many attended. We praise God for the things He is doing among the Zhuang in various areas!
Pray:
•That God would provide financially for local workers through a good platform for those who have a vision to serve Him full-time.
•For love, spiritual maturity, and good leadership within the many house churches of China. Also pray for love, patience and wisdom for those ministering to house churches with significant problems. Pray for healing for those who are hurt emotionally and spiritually.
•For 5 leaders that will again take part in regular training classes being held in another city. Pray for safety, open hearts, and God's blessing on teachers and students alike.
•For wisdom in knowing how a group of young believers can best be organized into a regular fellowship. Pray that they would grow in love, knowledge of God and service.
•For a coworker that had his computer and computer case stolen, with passports, bank book, etc. inside. Pray that the sensitive material would not cause him or others problems. Also pray that the things that were lost would either be recovered or “easily” replaced.
•Please continue to pray for workers with various health issues.
