We have been called to reveal God to the world that lives without hope and without knowledge of Him.  To do that we desire to be physically among the Zhuang people.  We also need to be able to communicate with them in a way that is culturally appropriate.  Please pray with us that God would open the doors for such opportunities.  Currently there are several projects in the planning and early stages of implementation that hopefully will give local and overseas workers these opportunities.

 

Praise:
For the gifts and good news that was briefly shared with students and teachers at several rural primary schools. Pray for a growing understand for those that have heard.

 

For the opportunities that the Christmas season has given to share just a little bit more about the hope we have in Christ.

 

For a worker that has received almost all of the support needed to return for another year. Thank God for a short term team that was able to support workers in sharing the good news about Christmas.  They were a real blessing!

 

Prayer:

• Please pray for more opportunities to meet, talk with, and live among the unreached Zhuang for both local and overseas workers.
• Please remember a family that has some medical issues as well as is actively involved in various ministry related activities.  Please pray for strength, wisdom to know what to take on, and for times of rest for the family.
• Please specifically pray for a project that is starting in a Zhuang area.  The desire is that it would not only give access to a certain area, but that it would also generate funds for local workers.  Please also pray for favour and protection for those involved in this project.
• Continue to pray for the new born son of workers.  Due to medical complications they may need to stay out of the country for another 9 months or more for rehab and observation. Pray for full recovery and that the time spend elsewhere would also be fruitful.  Pray for opportunities to share and encourage churches in their country to get more involved in outreach.
• Continue to pray for those in language study.  Pray not just for good language, but also for the ability to understand and relate to people in another culture.
• Pray for those involved in on-campus work.  Pray that those who have come to faith would be excited about sharing their faith and that they would grow closer to Father day by day.
• Pray for the safe return and quick adjustment of a family that has just had a baby. They plan to return to their country of service this month.
