February 8th, 2008 - New Life for a New Year
PRAYER FOCUS: new life for a new year
The last couple days have included many celebrations surrounding the arrival of the New Year on the Tibetan calendar. Many rituals have been performed and offerings made to appease the spirits in hope of good fortune for the year ahead.
PRAY:
- Tibetans would see how much torment is caused in their lives by these evil spirits.
- They would desire to be free from this torment! (John 8:32)
- Their eyes would be opened through faith to the unmatchable name of Jesus – the name that is “above all names” – and to which even evil spirits will one day bow in worship and confess Him as Lord! (Phil. 2:9-11)
- In 2008 a multitude of Tibetans would turn in faith and be set free by the Son of God! (John 8:36)
