The Tai Lue music recording went very well.  The ten Tai Lue women that came were overwhelmed with gratitude.  They have been dreaming about such a recording for many years.  The two music CDs should be ready for distribution later this year, hopefully in time for the 90-year celebration of the Tai Lue Church in China.

The training course also went without a hitch.  We had eight Tai Lue church workers go through the training, including a senior elder (pastor) of a new church.

Approximately 8-10 church workers from 2 Tai Lue churches will be trained over the next two years in spiritual disciplines, evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.

As more and more Tai Lue believers envisage reaching their own people with the Gospel, more and more desire to go into full-time Christian work.  However, it is difficult for them to raise the needed financial support.

Pray:

Pray for these two new training programs, that the Lord will use them to equip the Tai Lue church workers for effective ministry.  Pray also for the various instructors who are involved in these training sessions.

Pray for three Tai Lue workers – “Ben,” “Sam,” and “Tom,” as they regularly travel out to villages to evangelize Buddhist and minister to Christians.  Pray that the Lord will provide the finances needed for their outreach activities.

Pray for the production of the Tai Lue worship CDs and the new Tai Lue songbook, as well as the reprinting of the Tai Lue hymnal.  Pray that the Tai Lue worship CDs will be ready for distribution during the 90-year anniversary celebration.
