Tai Lue Quick Facts:
-One of 55 Officially recognized  minorities in China
-1.5 Million People in China
-Most Tai are Hinayana Buddhists
-Missionaries first came to minister to the  Tai in the 1890's
A Chinese co-worker, Miss L., believes that the Lord is calling her to work full-time with the female leaders of one of the Tai Lue churches.  She has worked with the church and these women over the past couple of years in a part-time capacity.  In the past, she has instructed the church in the areas of prayer and worship. Her involvement with these Tai Lue women and others has had a major impact upon the church.

Over the past year, the church has come alive spiritually.  I have personally witnessed many believers pouring out their hearts and souls before the Lord in prayer and worship.  It is truly amazing to see the spiritual transformation that is taking place within the church.  Last summer, the church established a missions committee for the first time in its history.  The church is now also involved in evangelistic outreach to Buddhist Tai Lue villages, including leprosy-affected Tai Lue villages.

Miss L. is taking a major step of faith by stepping out into full-time faith ministry.  However, the Lord is already proving Himself faithful by providing for her financial needs through various members of the Body of Christ.
