One of the dilemmas of the Lord's work in missions is dealing with the constant coming and going of people.  People are always coming and going for many reasons, some are forced to leave due to the lost of their visa or because of family difficulties.  Consequently, building teams and keeping the work progressing are always a dilemma!  This past year, several key families had to leave one country and this has left a large void in the work  On the other hand, we are seeing several new folks coming into the work this year and we are praising God for His faithfulness.  

• Please pray for God to continue to send out workers into the harvest field. Nationals, Asians, and Caucasians are needed.

• Please pray for wisdom as new teams are formed.  We don't want to put undue pressure on existing people, but at the same time, we really need to draw from their experience and ask for their help in helping assimilate these new people into the work.  

• Pray for the Tai Dam team as it forms into a new team.  May we be wise in equipping them for the next few months of their work, but may we also be able to give them the needed leadership, fellowship, and accountability, etc. for the next year.    

Faith called a few weeks ago and even though she is going through this hard time with government persecution, threats of imprisonment, and hearing about other Christians being killed and imprisoned, she is able to praise the Lord for giving her little gifts of His love!  She had to pay for some schooling expenses for the kids, and true to His faithfulness, the Lord provided a person who was interested in buying all of her items for sale!  Such a small thing but so nice for her, as she realized He has never abandoned her and will provide for every need she has!  There is nothing that the officials can do to her, apart from what He allows! 

• Please continue to pray for the difficult situation for Believers in Laos.  People intent on following the Lord have experienced such difficulties and trials because of their stand for Christ.  May they be able to love their enemies, make wise decisions, and know His constant love and watch care! 
• The Teacher has been gone for  over 8 months  now!  Please pray for his wife, kids, and for God to be glorified.
