121 Days, Please take a few moments to pray for the Teacher and his release.
It is encouraging to see the faith of some of the believers in Laos in spite of difficult odds. They are going through a difficult time.
The believers in one village are undergoing severe opposition to their faith. A local pastor in response to this opposition said to the believers, "We need to be prepared to pay the cost for our allegiance to Jesus! If any of you desires to turn back and go the old way so as to avoid the government's wrath, now is the time to do it!"
In another town, Golden Boy also is seeing difficulties. It seems that with openness to the Gospel, many cults have entered Laos and are now preying on young Believers.
- Please pray for wisdom to know how to speak out against these "wolves in sheep's clothes" and also for a deeper knowledge of and love for God's words.
- Please pray for strong fellowship and good times together for the Christians. May they experience the body of Christ in all it's fullness.
- Please pray that the Word of God would dwell richly among the Christians. May they have a word of witness and praise for all that they see Him doing in their midst. He is protecting them and allowing them to know what is coming before it actually happens!
- Pray for repentance and open hearts in the official’s hearts. May they stop fighting against the Lord of Heaven.
