62 Days and Nothing!
We spoke with Faith a few days ago and there is still no word from the Teacher or the authorities.
- Please pray that he would be kept from the Evil One and that those around him would show mercy and kindness to him. Providing all he needs since his family is not able to do this! May the Light of the Risen Christ warm and encourage this faithful brother!
Faith’s brother-in-law has died. This is the father of 5 of the kids in her hostel. All of them will be journeying to the North to attend the funeral. As in most Tai Dam funerals, they do a spirit ceremony the day of the burial, which involves offering items to the ancestral spirits. The kids being Christians will miss this part of the funeral but will be there afterward. All 5 of these kids are growing in their faith and will be a wonderful witness to God's love and sacrifice for these people.
- May the kids have a safe trip - 2+ days to get there.
- May they be a very special witness to their mom and others in the village
- May the kids have a way to share God's love for the lost in this remote village
- Also please pray for Ellie and another friend as they travel to visit a Tai Dam area in another country! They will be looking to help set up more of a business as well as make needed contacts. May God lead them, give them wisdom, and His Divine appointments.
