In many areas of Thailand, different people groups are seeing the fruit of years of missionary work. Groups like the Hmong, Mien, Shan, Black Tai, Lahu, Karen, Akha, etc. have begun to see their church grow and develop to the point that now they are seeing Christians who want to serve Him full time or whenever they can. This week, 20 church planters are here for a training in the Thai language. They represent 4 different people groups, and we are excited to see their heart and passion for the work God is doing. Typically, these people will look to the past and learn from it. Not a bad idea, but they have never really learned to plan and look to the future! As such, we are trying to get them to do some strategic planning and develop their thinking, so as to plant churches that reproduce and establish leaders that will also be able to reproduce. Church Planting Movements is what the training is about, but basically it is 2 Tim. 2:2 being worked out.
- Please pray that they will be able to discern what God is doing among their people groups and in their focus area of ministry, so that they can realign themselves with the things God is doing and wants to do in the coming days!
- Please pray that they would increase in FAITH through the course, so that they become more bold in stepping out for God and His purposes in their lives.
- Please pray that these church planters would see reproducing churches and reproducing leaders very soon to the glory of His Name!
Thank you for your part in this work to reach all Peoples with the Truth of the Gospel.
