Prayer Walking in Asia
Jason and Tina were two people who became interested in an unreached people group in SE Asia.  They assisted their home church in the eventual adoption of this people group and did what they could to mobilize prayer within the church.  They attended a networking time for other groups that work with this group, and finally, were challenged with the opportunity of sponsoring a prayer walk into the area where this people group lived.  Tina was very excited and jumped in eagerly to assist in the planning.  Jason on the other hand did a lot to assist the team, but when asked point blank if he was excited at this opportunity, he responded honestly, "I hate Asians and would never go on such a trip!!”  As the time arrived to go, Jason found a plane ticket in his hands and his name on the itinerary!  Jason couldn't back out now!
Arriving in SE Asia, Jason was amazed at how different it was from the US, and he was also so excited to experience all that God had for him to learn.  Traveling into “creative access nations” was a concern, but in the end, this too was so exciting.  He wanted to get up early and go to sleep late just so he could take it all in!  He enjoyed his time among this people group and went home even more committed to seeing what God would have for them to do among this people group.  Have you ever been on a prayer walk?  Do you have any desire to visit some of the Tai Dam that you have been praying for over the past few years?  Do you have an interest in seeing what more God might have for you in your missions focus?  If any of the answers to these questions is YES, we would like to invite you on a prayer walk into Tai Dam areas.  Trips are being planned for latter 2006 and 2007 at this time.  If you would like to pursue this opportunity please email hdmekong@infomekong.com and tell us a little about your interest and the dates you would be available.
The prayer booklet, "Faces of the Black Tai", is now available. If you would like to purchase a copy please email your request with mailing details to hdmekong@infomekong.com
