To refresh and replenish the land, the Taidam who cultivate and farm using the "swidden" method on mountain slopes, abandon those fields after three years allowing the land to lie fallow for a period of years. Around this time of year, the fall weather is settling in and we think of harvest days.
"To pray effectually, to pray till hell feels the stroke, to pray till the iron gates of difficulty are opened, till the mountains of obstacles are removed, till the mists are exhaled and the clouds lifted, is hard work; but it is God's work and man's best labor." E.M. BOUNDS
How many times have you come into a city or an area and find there are “NO” Christians??  No worship going up to exalt the King of Creation!!  You might see this in areas where the population is only a few thousand, but what if it is 600,000 people!  This is the case in one province of the North. The Black Tai people have not one person who calls on the name of Jesus.  Over the last few years, Thai from Thailand have become more and more interested in the ministry to their cousins, the Black Tai.  Little interest has been shown previously, but in His perfect time, hearts are being touched, mobilization is happening, and a desire to make a change is occurring.
When you believe that nothing significant can happen through you, you have said more about your belief in God than you have said about yourself.  You have said that God is not capable of doing anything significant through you.  The truth is, He is able to do anything He pleases with one ordinary person fully consecrated to Him.      Henry Blackaby
