Tai Dam Group Hopes to Attend a Chronological Bible Teaching
One of the most effective ways we have found to disciple Tai Dam Believers is to teach them chronologically and then encourage them to learn the stories well so that they can teach others.  A training center, that teaches this method and which has been used of God for many years.  The believers are trained through the Bible in 1 year in 4 phases. 

 

Phase One will begin in August and we pray that 3 Tai Dam believers will be able to attend.  LT has a wonderful story of how God has worked healing in his life, and we pray that as one of the few male believers in his village, he will be able to begin to lead the group.  His wife will also hopefully be able to go, as well as another older lady, who has believed for a number of years, but has not had much teaching. 

• Please pray for LT, his wife NP, and Granny N. May they fall in love with their Saviour, learn to tell His story well, and be equipped to lead the fellowship in their home village.

Jesus Film
As you know the "Jesus" film has been translated into over 700 languages and seen around the world by more than 4 billion people. Now, we have the privilege and opportunity to add another language into this film. The Taidam language!!! Praise the Lord!

• The recording will begin from August 1 through 12. I know many of you have been faithfully praying for the Taidam people and for this project to take root. The time has come!
• I would like to ask for your prayer for the team, many of whom are not yet Christ followers. May God touch their hearts as they take part in this recording.
• Special prayer request for Sg and her family, and Se. Sg and Se are two faithful sisters who are the coordinators of this project. May God give them the endurance and encouragement as they work in all the details and with all the actors/actresses.
• Please continue to pray for the part of Jesus' character, that the recording will be completed in a timely manner (40% of it has been completed). The next two days are very crucial because the voicing of Jesus' part need to be done then, so that we'll be able to show the Premiere of the film on Sunday, August 14.

Follow Up Trip
S is busily trying to get his passport finished.  He never thought he would need one, nor was he interested in the hassle of getting one until recently. S has begun to get more and more curious about what his wife, E, is talking about from all her adventures!  As you know, E returned from a time in the country we call TD land, after a rather turbulent time with the authorities.  No problem came about because of it, but rather we have a green light to continue to help in this way.  One would think E would gotten more discouraged and just given up. However, God has done a great work in her heart and in S's heart, as well. Both want to go together to follow up the work that began 4 weeks ago.

E would like to see how the ladies did weaving the pieces, that E gave them. E will be checking on the quality of the work and correct any errors or problems. E must also figure out how to encourage them to proceed in the weeks and months ahead.  Oh, did you guess she will not be coming back for several months now, due to being quite pregnant with her third child? 

• Please begin praying that this time will be very encouraging for E, as she spends more time with these folks, that she has really gotten to know and love.
• Pray that the time is very significant in S's life, as the Lord begins to show him what his place can be in all this.  
• Please pray for safety, favor with the officials, and joy in the Lord as our strength.
