Our meeting last week went very well and we were amazed
at what God has done in our midst. We had all the
people attend that we had invited, which was a real
joy. In the end, they all appreciated the things we
were trying to communicate to them.
Specifically, if they want to export any items in
greater quantity, they will need to
increase
their quality and also increase their abilities to
dye different colors and to weave different patterns. In
the end, we were rejoicing at what God did. They
want to come for a full two week training sometime
in the next couple of months, and they would like to
bring 5 or 6 people from their villages with them.
They want to essentially start from scratch with
wider looms, and they have asked if would be able
to help them do that. It is a very encouraging
start for us, so we wanted to say thanks!!
Secondly, one of the ladies was sharing about her
sin and how
whatever she does, she still
feels guilty. What a great blessing to see that
as Eli began to help them with their lives, their
spiritual lives came along closely behind
- Pray that the
God of all love continue to encourage and guide
this small group, as they teach and train in new
weaving techniques, but also as they share
about a God who has taken away their sin by His
payment on the cross! Wow, what great news.
May it begin to be explained in the homes of the
Tai Dam.
