The daughter of a couple living in a remote village of Laos married a Christian earlier this year. As this couple watched the Christians and spent time with them, they were very impressed by their lives and attitude.

It was so encouraging that the father said to a visiting pastor, "I hope all my kids will marry Christians!"  After a short pause, the pastor asked him why he doesn't become a Christian.  He responded, "I am the one that has to do the spiritual things for the family. I can't stop doing this. But I can free my kids so they never have to do it!"

After a bit of thought, the pastor asked the couple if they would ever consider coming to some classes with people in the same situation as he is.  "I know of several couples in the same situation as you. Would you come for a few days of teaching?"  The couple responded that they would!   Praise God for the creative thought of this pastor. Weaving Business
The Lord has been very gracious in allowing us to set up a business over the past few months.  We still wait on some of the official papers and the final "stamp", but we are hopeful.  As we have shared our vision and interacted with others here in Vietnam, God has led us to others, who we hope to work with.  One lady is a designer for clothes and household products, and the other is a woman teaching deaf people to sew the products, that are developed.  The material used has been different machine produced cloth, but we are seeing a potential for using the hand woven cloth from the Thai.  The deaf folks have been taught to sew different items in a high quality fashion.
