God loves the Tai Dam and is at work to bring many more to Himself.  In many places in Laos, we have heard reports of real hunger to grow in His Word.

But at this time, there are so few that really know how to teach and instruct others, that those interested continue to sit idly by.  A few efforts are being made to instruct them, and it is for these, that we would ask prayer this week. 

• Father, you know there are many Tai Dam in Laos and Vietnam, that have a heart for God, but there are so few that are able to tell them anything more about you. Please raise up more workers for the harvest.
• When teachers do come to visit, they can only do so a few times before the local government chases them out or threatens to imprison them.  Give them wisdom Lord to know when to go, what to teach, and how to encourage them to remain obedient to the Word.

In a many  areas the education levels are also very low or nonexistent.  Grade 3 is the maximum level many can hope for (not that education is the answer, see last weeks update).  But, new opportunities are being found, where students can be brought into a more populated area and given a basic education.  At least they can learn to read and find about different opportunities, which may be available for them.  This isn't the whole answer, but they are able to get an education in several areas, spiritual included.

• Please pray that those students God has selected would come, and please allow the parents to understand and favor this concept to send their kids away.
