Info Mekong Tai Dam Prayer Update

Over the past year we have seen a couple of new fellowships begin, but also a couple of fellowships cease, due to police and government pressure. There has been an ongoing meeting of people near the Lao capital, but even they have been told to stop meeting. The end result of this - they now meet at different times.

We do pray that the government would see their desire to become better citizens and people, who work for the good of the community. However, we must realize that our true opposition is not the rulers and authorities in this world.
pray for those God has placed in authority in Laos and Vietnam. Ask our Father that these people would rule justly and wisely. We pray that they would seek the best for the people that You have given them responsibility for. We pray that You would have mercy on their souls. May they come into contact with the Word of Life, through living witnesses or through dreams and visions. Lastly, Father, they are caught up in the game of acquiring more and more, and we pray that they would learn to be true servants, seeing that this world and all that we store up is so quickly destroyed or taken away from us.
