Happy New Year to you!  We so appreciate your faithfulness and weekly commitment to prayer for this spiritually needy group.

 

Over this past year, we have seen Faith travel to Vietnam a couple of times, in order to continue building a friendship that will lead to sharing things of eternal significance.  Faith has also been working with some Taidam university students, and we praise God for the things He is doing in their hearts to reach their own people with the Savior's love.  Lastly, working with a few families that were helped to resettle in a new area, Faith has continued to disciple and encourage these people with Bible teaching and helping them to develop a way to make a living. 

• In the last couple of months, this group was told that they cannot meet together any more!  The wiles of the Evil One continue to frustrate and discourage His people. Pray.
• Please pray that these people would not forget meeting together, but realize that unity and "life together" is a key to fruitfulness in the Christian life.  Please pray also that God would give the Believers protection and wisdom. 

Faith continues in this work almost all alone (from a Taidam leadership standpoint).

• pray that God would raise up others to encourage and assist her in this work.  Just when you begin to see some movement and growth, the Discourager comes in and keeps them from taking the next steps.
• May God give direction a new understanding of what He wants to do in the midst of these different groups. May we have eyes and hearts to discern this work of the Holy Spirit.
• May God raise up new leaders to continue taking His Word to the Thai Peoples of Laos and Vietnam.
