Be encouraged in your prayers for the Shan! In last month's bulletin we asked you to pray into a situation where for reasons of security we had to be very vague. The situation that we had in mind was very specific and even though the prayer request was very general, the Lord answered very specifically! A key individual who had been behind a lot of the "temptation facing believers" has been removed from the scene!

• "As we shared the gospel, people kept slipping out to go and fetch other members of their household to come and hear. That night ten prayed to receive Christ." These are the words of a co-worker in Thailand who has seen 35 people believed and baptised in the past two months. Spend some time praising the Lord and dare to ask for more!
• About 100 Shan believers will attend a conference in Maehongson, Thailand from April 22nd - 24th. Pray that God's anointing will be on the speakers and that all who attend will be deeply encouraged.
• Pray for effective follow up to letters received by the FEBC Shan radio broadcast.
