The area where the Shan-Tai live in China is known by the Chinese Government as being the area of highest HIV infection rate in the whole country.

Over the past few months our friends have been putting together a Medical, AIDS and Prostitute project. Initially everything looked good with the authorities looking with favor on what was being proposed. Then everything was put on hold. The Government has stopped things. What is God saying?

Please pray with us that the door would open as we see that this project could have strategic importance in seeing the love of Christ displayed to the Shan-Tai.

• In the same area of China there have been more Shan-Tai people turning to Christ. This month 4 believers have been training 16 new believers, pray that we really would see lives transformed and that this would be multiplied into a movement.
• New radio programs have just started being broadcast on FEBC to supplement the existing program. Pray that the listener base would expand and that there would be a response. 
• Three short term teams are currently active, one in China, one in Burma and another in Thailand. Pray that the Lord would use these teams as they prayer walk and teach English. Pray for the team members to experience all of what God has for them in their exposure to the Shan.
