E led a couple to the Lord in moon village who had been members of the cult, “Two ounces of rice”. They had a strange practice of weighing a 20 pound sack of rice, then doing deeds approved by the cult and then reweighing to discover God’s reward in more rice. They reported an increase of a pound of rice.
However, the line by line teaching of scripture was able to dispel these hocus-pocus mists from their minds. They had also earlier noticed the transformation in the girl who had been tormented by a spirit and unable to function normally. Counterattack
Since good things are happening in M village, the inevitable hindering work of the accuser of the brethren is also increasing. The village head and a group of older people are expressing opposition. They are saying that it was okay for our sister with Aids to believe, but not others. The former cult member is rising to the occasion and offering strong defense to the attacks. Recording
We are concentrating on teaching those who can teach others. Bible Translation
The Bible translation team is meeting with the locals to see how to practically work together. An experienced translator in his seventies is here providing coaching. He estimates a 15-17 year project.
