Remember Cinderella? In the latest version, one of the ugly sister changes sides. Read on. SG was born into a family that left Burma to take refuge in Thailand. Her name means "Very beautiful."
When SG was little, meningitis left her with a disabled arm and foot. SG grew up to be the most diligent but most overlooked member of her family. Always sweeping, cleaning, tidying up after her sisters. Earlier this year SG accepted Jesus, as her "Prince Charming", as her Lord and Saviour.
Her sisters hated her all the more and after beating her, her eldest sister said, "I would like to see you dead!" SG's youngest sister saw how SG changed and had something she didn't. She began attending church. She too has now been baptized!
- Pray that Jesus' kingdom on earth amongst the Shan-Tai would be that same as it is in heaven!
- God continues to work amongst Shan-Tai in Thai prisons. Pray that there will be a movement of people coming to Christ!
- Pray for the several new workers who are about start learning Shan-Tai language.
