D was at home and some youngsters came around with some Christian literature. Usually D wouldn't even allow such people into her garden. Either that or she would hide! This time was different; she read the tract and filled in the form to send off for a free Bible. Weeks later as she read the Bible, D put her trust in Jesus, and God gave her peace. It is now one year later and D is in hospital. Yesterday D was told that she is HIV+. Pray for D as she tells her husband and parents. Ask yourself "How would I deal with such a situation?" D has been sharing her faith with the others on her ward; many of them are dying with AIDS.

• Pray for Shan-Tai people in China, Burma and Thailand who are HIV+, pray that many would turn to Christ.
• Pray that churches would be freed of prejudice and able to reach out in love to those who are HIV+
• Pray for D's wider family, that they would turn to Christ. D's grandfather was one of the first believers in M province. His vibrant witness birthed a church; pray that D's faith would also bear fruit.
