Forward!
Thanks for praying for us after we became aware of someone investigating us. We are still here! After reflecting, researching and praying we think we should keep moving ahead trusting God to protect us. Proverbs 28:1 says that “
the righteous are bold as a lion” and we don’t want to be so cautious that they dynamism of a faith that turns the world upside down is lost.
- Please pray that a bold fearlessness toward the intimidations of the enemy would fill all the Tai. (We are now using the “T” spelling for Dai because it is the one most generally used throughout Southeast Asia.)
Prayer Works
Several months ago we requested prayer for the hard drinking husband of a lady in P village. He has made a commitment. After visiting him two days ago, he is doing well.
- Please pray for him to stand strong and grow through the inevitable backlash from his old buddies.
Lower on the Status Scale
Three or four young girls, joined by four of E’s family members means that over a dozen Tai people are meeting here to worship our Majestic One. Until now this city has been one tough nut to crack for the gospel. Could this be a new beginning? The people, not being from around here, are lower on the status scale, but God delights to use the humble.
- Could you pray for the life of Christ to so fill the church here that it spills over to many in this city.
First Friday Fast
- Would you like to join us in fasting and prayer? The first Friday of every month we fast and pray for God’s work here!
