"We seem to be under investigation for our connections with Tai becoming Christians." writes a key cross cultural worker to the Shan-Tai in China. Over the past two years there have been an increasing number of new Tai believers and an investigation was instigated after a Buddhist monk protested to the authorities. Over the next couple of months the team of ex-pat workers is due to grow with several new workers arriving. Pray for protection, discernment and boldness. Pray that more and more Tai people would know the joys of following Christ. Pray too for those doing the investigation.

• Last month we asked you to pray for purity amongst the youth. This month a Shan church in Thailand will hold its first wedding between two young Shan people who love each other and have kept themselves for each other despite pressure from non believing parents.
• Pray for the gathering of Shan believers taking place in Thailand soon. Several folk will try and travel from Burma.
