"Please forgive me, and may God forgive me, I have decided to do this for my mother. I have asked her to come to church with me I have done everything that I can do to get her interested in Jesus." The young man has just decided to do a Chao Sang Long ceremony to make merit for his mother out of gratitude for all that she has given him. Pray that he will have a change of heart.

To many Shan, Boye Sang Long and Chao Sang Long are at the very heart of what it means to be Shan. This comes at what has been described as the "darkest time of the year". It is definitely the hardest time for Shan Christians to make a stand for what they believe. There will be a Shan youth camp in North Thailand to be held from April 25th-28th on the theme of God's Glory. Pray that it will hit home and be a challenge to all those who attend.
