We asked you to pray for a couple of new Christians whose village had been occupied by the Burmese military, with the commanding officer staying in their house. Since then, the situation has deteriorated and the couple have decided to leave the village and return to their hometown in the Karenni State. The Burmese soldiers used up about $100 of their possessions without recompense.

 

This couple were baptized in December alongside a man whom they have led to the Lord. During this next month, the woman will be staying with friends in Thailand and the two men have returned to the village to finish off their work. Pray for their safety and for God to use them for His glory.

• Christmas outreaches took place in more places in North Thailand amongst the Shan than at any time ever. Pray for eternal fruit!
• Several short term teams have been at work amongst the Shan. Pray for God to impact the lives of these precious young folk and give them an increased heart to intercede for the Shan-Tai.
• Pray for ex-pat workers who are in language study. May God give them the grace to persevere in joy!
