It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Eph 4:11-13
Planting Season
The recent rains have decently soaked the soil. Now it’s time for sowing and planting.
Most Pwo Karen have a place near their home where they grow their spices, peppers, beans, pumpkins and other green vegetables.
Rice is of course sown and transplanted already in the paddy fields that are located in the valleys. On the hill sides some Karen have fields where they grow peppers, tomato’s or peas for the

local market. All together a lot of activity.
Praise:
- Thank You Lord for the many Pwo Karen people that have come to know You and want to serve you in Your vineyard.
Pray:
- For the many Pwo Karen believers, that they will daily study Gods Word, that they will grow in their faith en will bring Glory to Him.
- For leaders that they will be meek, full of grace, with wisdom to lead the flock and led by the Spirit of God.
- For the woman that they will apply Gods Word in their lives and will not be lead by their emotions.
- For children that they will go to church joyfully each week, will memorize Gods Word and have a desire to serve the Lord God. Pray they will work hard at school and get good jobs in society. Pray that through this more Christians will be examples in the workplace (hospitals, schools, companies, banks etc.) These people can be powerful testimonies of Gods love and faithfulness.
