In all of history there has never been a church among the Lao Phuan.

As of August 2007 a group began to form and now there are a dozen or more every Sunday. 4 adults were recently baptized.

Leaders in the group approached the government asking for permission to meet. The response came in the form of a request: “Our Party office needs a computer, printer and fax machine.” The believers responded generously and without complaint.

Some people in the community are showing interest and a few have even attended on Sunday – curious to see what it is all about.
