Grandpa

Grandpa T. lives in a small village near where he grew up.  He has six kids who are all grown.  There were no schools in his village when he was growing up and the first time he went to a school to study was when he was eighteen just after he was married.  He lived through the war and remembers the bombs falling.  He has farmed all of his life.  He eats mostly rice and fish he catches out of the small pond in front of his house.  He enjoys having his family visit and loves his grandkids. 

Like so many others around him, Grandpa also doesn’t know about Jesus.  Will he live his whole life without the opportunity to hear about what Jesus has done for him? 

• Pray for Grandpa and many Phuan villagers like him who have lived their whole life without hearing about Jesus.
• Pray for the gospel to spontaneously multiply among the thousands of Phuan on this plateau
• Pray for a local church within walking distance  of every Phuan person
