Odd One Out
Sally is a very unusual Phuan lady. She is middle age and single – a rare thing in the Phuan culture. She is also an active and outgoing Christian. That makes her even odder!

Added to this she runs a care center for street children – corralling these kids and getting them bathed and fed and off to school every day, then seeing that they get help with their homework. Even more remarkable – these children are not even Phuan; they all come from another tribe, one that Phuan people don’t usually care to mix with.

Sally stands pretty much alone. Two or three other believers fellowship with her but mostly she is on her own. Christians among the Phuan are still a rare commodity.

• Please pray for Sally that she would continue to grow and continue to be mighty in spirit.
• Pray that God will use people like Sally to reach other Phuan
• Pray for the needs of children in Laos, particularly those from dysfunctional homes
