With the Gladness is Unsettlement of Mind
"His thoughts said ‘When I hear of wonderful things done elsewhere I am glad, and yet with the gladness is unsettlement of mind. There is a strange allure in all I hear. There are days when I fly from the place where I am to the place where souls are flocking to Thee. There is a wavering in me which I do not understand.’

His Father said, ‘This wavering is a temptation. Many have known it. Thy times are in My hand. Thy time today is in My hand. Would I waste My servant's time?  Remember thy Lord's hour by the well. He who sent thee is with thee. Not all fields are reaped with the sickle. Some crops must be hand-picked."

20 Karen youths attended the third module of the one-month Bible training in May. Each weekend they visited different churches and taught what they had learned in the preceding week. The course motivated the young people to apply all they had learnt in their own villages. A group of Karen went on a 5 day journey by foot from village to village visiting young churches in order to encourage and teach them. Although it rained daily, it was a great and encouraging experience. This fall a musical team plans to wander from village to village, in order to present the gospel creatively. They hope to visit villages where there are no or very few Christians. Kinh – Vietnamese
One thing that is very much on Vietnam's mind these days is joining the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Of course, the greatest need for Vietnam is not full access to the global market, but full access to the gospel. There have been signs of increased opportunities for Protestant Christians to meet together in some areas. For example, in one province, government permission was granted for the building of five new church buildings. Also, a Divinity training course was held for 35 pastors, mainly from Central Highland ethnic minority groups. Yet, this is but the tip of the iceberg in terms of the needs in Vietnam. There is still the need for hundreds, if not thousands more churches, and many new pastors and teachers for the current needs and many more if, God willing, revival comes to Vietnam.
