Many people prayed for believers among a totally un-reached group, the Lantaen. During the early 1990’s there appeared to be a break through with the Lantaen when a few of them came to the Lord.

But then the authorities stepped in with strong persecution. Now, in the past 6 years there have been more and more believers in Lantaen villages and there has been a corresponding increased pressure and opposition to the Christians.

A lot of prayer is needed for the believers who are again under a lot of pressure from authorities. One of the first believers, a young guy named K.H., has been in prison for more than a year. In one of the Northern provinces, the church now has about 1,000 believers (Lantaen as well as other people groups) whereas before there were no believers in the province.

• Pray for these believers to know and to live out God’s love for their neighbors and for those who oppose and mistreat them.
