It was really cold on the mountains and many members of the team visiting many Akha villages had significant health problems but all recovered and were able to continue serving the Akha. The medical services were appreciated by many Akha. Some times the people would wait till midnight for their turn to see the doctors. It was such a treat for them to have doctors visiting with medicines and treatment given with love and care.
What a blessing to see the love of God that overcomes the barriers between different cultures and languages – Akha, Thai, Shan and Karen to mention a few.
