Saturday Nights in Akha Villages
A young  man in the village has come forward to teach the children and youth. The village leader is planning to visit him soon to encourage him in this kind of ministry that he has never done before. China
There is already a handful of Akha believers who are very enthusiastic in reaching out to their own people. They have much more freedom now than before. Special Services
A group of believers plan to serve the Akha in different villages through medical aid, teaching and youth programs in villages as well as in the schools. Radio
There are over a half a million Akha in Mekong Region who speak a common language. Several hundred thousand Akha have no opportunity to hear the Gospel. Rugged terrain and oppressive governments hinder evangelists from entering areas where numerous Akha villages are known to exist. With this in view, an Akha radio ministry is being developed.
