Two Akha Christian leaders are doing the Akha radio recording. They are receiving training for this in August. Sharing the Gospel in Laos, China, and Vietnam is restricted, but radio waves cannot be stopped or delayed. It is disappointing  when visiting Akha people in these countries to not be able to share the gospel even thought they sometimes want to hear it.  There have been occasions when they insisted their visitors share the ‘good news’.

• Pray that one day the word of God will be broadcasted in Akha language.

Hostel ministry
The reasons for having a hostel are many. One is that there are no schools in the mountain villages. Another is, that in the hostel, there is an extended opportunity to teach the word of God. There are presently 60 Akha children in the hostel during the school year. During school holidays they return to their home villages.

• Pray for God to provide all that is needed to run a hostel – godly house parents, rent, food, safety, health, healthy, growing relationships.
