Yi (Nisu) Quick Facts:
-Population over 1,000,000
-Live mostly in mountainous, hard to  reach villages in the Central and  Southern Yunnan Province of China
-Animism, Ancestor Worship and  Buddhism are the main religions

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward…” Psalm 127:3.

The lives of Nisu children are much different than those living in other parts of the world.  Many children only receive an education up to the 5th grade.  Families are just too poor to pay for adequate medical and dental care.

But most importantly, Nisu children grow up in a worldview and religion fearing evil spirits.  From a very young age they are involved in the practice of idolatry and worshipping their ancestors.  They do not hear or know of the name of Jesus Christ.  They do not know the good news of a Creator God who loves them, died for them and desires an eternal relationship as their Heavenly Father.  Please Pray:
