So much of a western world view is based upon having a Creator God.  Most of the Nisu areas do not believe in a creator.  But in a recent trip to a certain dialect area we began to ask questions about their beliefs.  We asked about their festivals and other cultural questions. 

 

Well, it turns out that there most important and biggest festival of the year is in honor of a “creator”.  We were so excited to hear this.  As it turns out, in this area, they believe that a “man” created the first man and woman and creation.  What an incredible bridge in their culture to introduce them to the Son of Man Jesus Christ!!  He is the true creator…All things were made through Him…John 1:3.

• That the sharing of the true creation story in this area would remove the veil from their eyes and they would come to faith in God
• Continued blessing on compiling Nisu materials in the Nisu language
• For a family mourning the death of their mother, sister and friend.  She apparently died of heart failure.  We are thankful though that she knew the Lord and her soul is with Him.
