This month, we traveled to an area of China, where our team had never visited.  We had heard there were Nisu people living in the area, so the purpose of the trip was to confirm their presence, as well as find out as much as possible about the area.

 

We verified that there are three self churches in two of the towns we visited, and that a handful of Nisu people attend each church – even though the church services aren’t in their heart language!  We met with one of the 61 year old church leaders, who said they have done some outreach, but want to do a better job of reaching out to the Nisu villages.

 

 

Please Pray that:         

• The Lord will empower the leaders of the church to make disciples in the Nisu villages.
• The Lord will stir up more believers in China to reach out to the minority people.
• The Nisu would be able to learn about the Lord and worship Him in their own language.
• The Nisu believers would grow in strength.

 

Praise God that:

• There are Nisu believers attending each of these 3 self churches we located.
• The believers are reaching out to the minority people – including the Nisu.
