As Christmas approaches, many Christians are busy preparing for the main gospel opportunity of the year. Across the country there will be many evangelistic services held – especially in the week leading up to Christmas. Regular church members will be keen to invite many of their friends to these events. Sadly, there is often a disparity between these believers’ enthusiasm to push their friends and family forward at the altar call, and their own personal sharing of their faith.

The Jesus film
The Jesus film has had government permission for use in Vietnam for a number of years now, but the number of people who have seen it is limited. In the last 5 years it has been shown on TV twice, but was cancelled 2 years ago. Stadium Evangelism
On 26th December the Tin Lanh churches of Ho Chi Minh City will be holding an evangelistic Christmas service in a small stadium in the city. This is the first time for decades that they have been given permission to hold a service in a venue other than a church.
