PRAYER FOCUS: Faith that Overcomes

There are several Kham believers who are struggling to trust God in the midst of very difficult circumstances.

Pray:

• “Sarah” is under a lot of pressure from her family to find a good job after graduation and relieve her family’s financial strain.  This pressure has created a lot of anxiety for her and she is struggling to release it.  Pray she would cast it all on the Lord and know His peace in the midst of trial (1Pet.5:7).
• “Amy” lost her mother a while back and recently broke up with her unbelieving boyfriend.  On the outside she is making little of this and claims to be “just fine”.  But this attitude does not seem to reflect the presence of Him who comforts us with peace and assurance in all our troubles.  Pray she would turn in brokenness and faith to Jesus and know his comfort and peace that surpasses understanding.

For the new believer, “Dan”, who lost his four year old son a couple months ago.  No one has heard from him since he returned to his hometown.  As there are no other believers for him to fellowship with, pray he would be strengthened and encouraged by the Holy Spirit during this period of grief.  And pray his faith would be a strong witness among his family and friends.
