Like all those who worship evil spirits, the Mien are very conscious of the activity and presence of evil spirits. The sad thing is that they are completely unaware of God. Throughout Scripture whenever individuals became acutely aware of the presence of God the reaction was always the same – an overwhelming sense of sin. In the presence of the awesome holiness of God sin is dealt with radically. This is what happens in revival. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

NK and his family are visiting Mien churches in Thailand to speak about ministry to Mien living in creative access nations. Pray for the Mien to have a heart like the Father to go and seek those who are lost.
 
A number of Thailand Mien who have been given visitor’s visas have never come back. As a result the American Embassy is very cautious about granting visas and very few Mien are now able to obtain a visa to visit their relatives in the States.
Pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit on the American Mien to have a vision to reach their own people in SE Asia.

Granny Mun was one of the first believers in her village. She was very hard of hearing but loved the Lord with all her heart. Her Mien New Testament was one of the most worn and read Bibles you have ever seen. She was always helping people and constantly encouraging them to believe in Jesus. A large part of the money in the village church bank account was there as a result of her tithing. Last month she became sick and died. Christians from all the nearby Mien villages gathered for her funeral. The non-Christians of the village were impressed by how many came. Granny Mun was also a great woman of prayer. On a
number of occasions when we visited we found her praying in her house. Who is going to pray for Mien of that village now?

Please continue to pray for the printing of the Mien Bible in the 4 different scripts that there will not be any hitches and that the finished product will be really attractive. Pray too about the printing for creative access nations where distribution is the major problem. Pray for the definite leading of the Lord.

Please continue to pray for the 7-10 ladies who come to the evening Bible study and prayer meeting twice a week in T village. These Bible studies enable them to learn more of God's Word. This means that the emphasis of the Sunday services can shift more to evangelism aiming to help those who attend as a matter of habit to understand about salvation. Please pray that their lives will be changed.
