Persecution
In a northern province of Laos there are still two men in prison because of their faith. One was sentenced to 15 years and has already done 8 of them.

• Please pray that these men would continue to experience God’s nearness and that their time might be shortened. Please also remember their families.

The brothers and sisters in a neighboring province are still pressured but every now and then a new family dares to make a step of faith in Jesus. Three families trusted Christ in a Lanten village. They have stayed strong despite the police threats to kill them.

In most of the other provinces of Laos the believers have much more freedom for which we praise God.

The official church is meeting more often with the non-registered church. They are working together more and sometimes have training sessions together. This in itself would have been unthinkable just two years ago.

• Thank be to God for this new development. May God be glorified even more through this cooperation so that many more Lao churches can be started.
