Being Watched, Pressured and Some Have Fallen
In three villages the small groups of believers are closely watched. In one village that wanted to build a church building has 10 policemen and 10 soldiers stationed there to watch and to pressure the believers to sign a document renouncing their faith. Most of them have already signed. One is out of the village in a city for studies but he will likely have trouble when he returns home.

Another Family Member
It’s a great joy to report that a Lao man believed in the Lord this past month. Others are interested.
·         Pray for the maturing of this young believer as he travels this month for work. Ask that the Holy Spirit will teach him through the Word. May his whole family believe and a church started in his village.

Lay Leadership Training
Lessons are being developed and teaching given to train women for church planting. Currently they are working on a series of the commands of Jesus.
·         Pray for both the teacher and the students - for God’s leading and for all to respond in joyful obedience.

Prayer Mobilization
A group of Lao intercessors has met monthly for 3 months. The last meeting was thrilling as they are starting to learn more about listening to the Holy Spirit and praying in accordance with His leading.
·         Pray for more groups like this to be started.

Mentoring
The line between friendship and mentoring is a very blurred one.
·         Pray for those who are mentoring Lao believers as they try to prioritize spending time with 3 or 4 Lao friends, pray for them, encourage them and equip them for ministry – particularly church planting.
