Lahu Man Shocked by God
Lahu people from a particular village in Northern Laos heard the gospel and were keen to learn more.  Over a period of months a number of people in the village had believed.  In fact, most of them believed except Mr. Y.

Mr. Y ridiculed the believers and called them names. He threatened them and did his best to make life miserable for the new believers.  If this wasn’t enough he began to mock God, ridiculing His name.  What a bad idea.

One day Mr. Y was driving a small Chinese tractor with a wagon hooked on to the back of it.  In the back a few of the new Christians were riding with him. As the drove along lightning struck the vehicle throwing Mr. Y clear out. He was knocked unconscious as the wagon kept going and fell into a ditch. None of the Christian women were hurt. When Mr. Y woke up he said, “This happened to me because I mocked your God. He must be very powerful. I must learn who He is and maybe I too will worship Him.”
