Young men and the Bible
Currently I read the Bible with two friends on a regular basis. One of them is Mr. L who leaves Laos for further studies within one week. I plan to give him a farewell present and hope that he will accept it.

The other guy is Mr. N – first I teach him a foreign language for half an hour and then we read the Bible in Lao for another half an hour. He told me that when he was a child, a monk told him about some teachings from the Bible!  Mr. N even has a very old Bible with pictures at his home.

• Pray that God will open Mr. L and Mr. N’s eyes to the spiritual truth of the Bible.
• Pray God will bring other Christians into Mr. L’s life as he leaves Laos for further studies.
• Pray Mr. N will read the Bible on his own at home. Pray for the salvation of the monk that told Mr. N about some of the Bible teachings.

Friends
Some other guys that are on my heart are:

• Mr. Na - who came with me to worship with a group of believers this Sunday morning for the first time.
• Mr. S - a patient I met in a hospital. Three weeks before his operation he came to church with me. He has now been moved to a different hospital. Pray I will be able to find him and that God will bring him to salvation in Jesus.
• There is one guy who creates a lot of problems among some of the churches here. Some have left their churches to follow his false teachings. Pray for truth to overcome the deceit. Pray for repentance and forgiveness and reconciliation.
• Pray for the salvation of a teacher at the university that I have got to know.
• Pray for a godly, skilled and available person from Laos to work with me in the work that God has called me to do.
