40 Days Prayer & Fasting
Believers both inside and outside of Laos participated in 40 days of  corporate prayer and fasting, from January 1 to February 9, 2005. One 91 year old participant in Europe fasted during his dinners, a middle aged woman in North America fasted her breakfasts and a dear lady from Thailand was deeply moved by the daily prayer requests sent out. Pray:
-Pray believers will hear and recognize God’s voice and will act on what He has       said to them.
-Pray for believers in Laos to have godly wisdom and boldness to live as “lights on       a hill that cannot be hidden.”

Tai Dam
Ms. H is a Tai Dam lady. She gives thanks for God’s help with her new job on a rural development project. She recently had a motorbike accident and badly hurt her leg but is recovering well. The same day her sister had a road accident and her parents’ buffalo fell into a well and drowned. Other Christians working with the Tai Dam have also had accidents.

Pray:
-Pray for God’s protection over all his servants seeking to reach the Tai Dam for       Christ. Ms. H also asked prayer for her brother who works with her. He has made       a profession of faith but isn’t walking closely with God.
