S and T took the initiative to retype some portions of Luke in the national script so that it could be used at the youth camp. The plan is to convert from the Roman to the national script using a computer program, but they couldn’t wait! Praise God for their enthusiasm.
Pray for 4 Khmu Christian families who left their village because of “severe
persecution” from their fellow villagers. They have relocated to another province and are squatting in make-shift houses. Later, another 5 families joined them, and now they all need land to farm, building materials for housing, and rice to eat for the 6 months before the next harvest. We have heard that some of the 11 Khmu Christians in prison have been released, but no details yet.
K and P have purchased a small house in a Christian village, and a motorbike, and hope to be involved in trade of agricultural produce. Pray for their marriage to be established well, and for K to grow in spiritual maturity and understanding as he joins in checking translation.
