There have been believers among the Khmu for more than 100 years and yet they still do not have the Bible in their own language!!! BUT, praise God that the Khmu Bible translation is underway!! The gospel of Luke has been completed, feedback from some Khmu villagers has been positive. Luke in Khmu has been approved.

• Pray for the limited printing and distribution that is planned in the near future.
• Pray for the translation team – both those doing the translation and others that are being trained. Pray for God’s care and protection, perseverance in the task, and for growth in skills and vision as they look to the Lord.

In November there were a series of arrests and 11 Khmu Christians were imprisoned. No reason has yet been given.

• Pray for the truth and grace of Jesus to shine through these men to the authorities, for grace and strength in suffering, for God’s care over their families, and for wisdom for the Kon leadership in how to respond.

Mr. K and Miss P were married the beginning of December and will stay with his parents for some months (as is the normal Khmu custom).

• Pray for God’s blessings on their life together, and for wisdom for this young couple living as believers in the midst of an unbelieving community.
