During Christmas celebrations in Khmu villages, many have become believers.  Give thanks for increased freedom for Christian gatherings in some districts.

      

Thank you for praying for Kh's friend.  She has become a Christian and they have announced their engagement! Please pray for Kh's fiancée to grow in her faith, and for their future together.  They plan to marry towards the end of this year.

 

Praise God for an excellent translation workshop in January and increasing skills in the Khmu team.

 

Please pray for spiritual shepherds to take care of the many new Khmu believers.

 

Pray for S and Th, M and Kh as they continue to revise Luke in preparation for the consultant check in March. Please pray for S's health.  He has kidney stones and needs to watch his diet and drink lots to try to flush them through the system.

 

This month there is a workshop for beginning translators. Pray for M as he prepares to teach in Lao (a first), for Kh, and for one more Khmu person to be available to attend.  Pray that Kh and the other participants will get a good grounding in translation principles.
