Khmu Quick Facts:
-Indigenous inhabitants of Northern Laos
-3% Christian population out of 525,000
-Settled agriculturalists who practice swidden farming
-Found mainly in the Luang Prabang and Xieng Khouang Provinces of Laos
- Pray for the church leaders both within and outside of Laos, that they will respond
to the needs of Khmu believers with compassion and
wisdom. Pray for safe opportunities for teaching and
leadership training in-country.
- We value prayer for the continued progress of the translation. Please pray that the
Khmu translators will have opportunities to quietly work
at drafting Luke, and that the Holy Spirit will guide
their efforts.
- Please pray for Mr. K, to grow
in his understanding of God's Word and in his ability to
read and write his own language, and to persevere in
studying English.
- Please continue to pray for Christian workers in the progress of language and
culture learning, and in writing the Khmu grammar
description.
